Cozy beneath...

It's starting to get so cold here in Idaho! It's layering time. I had school today and we finally got to wear whatever we wanted because it was my last day of core! Yay! I'm officially done with testing week, and feel better than ever. Today we celebrated, and ate a ton of goods.... uh oh. It was too fun!
So a couple years ago I bought just a dark wash flare jean from American Eagle, of coarse my legs grew like 2 feet and now I have to wear them with boots haha. I also distressed these ones myself. I will be posting a DIY for distressed jeans in my next post.
Since it was FREEZING today I threw on a pair of leggings underneath! I ended up really liking the look, so I thought I'd do a post.
P.S. I got these leggings a long time ago for Christmas so I'm not sure where they are from. I've seen similar ones at Forever 21 and American Eagle. They are absolutely perfect to wear under some distressed jeans!
Hope you all have a great weekend xoxo

Chic...

I've totally been slacking this past week, so I wanted to do a little inspiration post with my most favorite colors and styles. These are actually my 'winter colors'... totally something I would wear on Christmas Eve/Christmas, or some sort of holiday gathering. :) Last year during the holiday season I went to the Nutcracker ballet and wore a beige tulle skirt, it made me feel so fab for the magical winter night! I'm hoping I get to do that again!
I've mentioned before that I have a huge love for black and gold, and that's completely 100% true, but I have an even bigger love for pale pink and red... they're my happy colors! I feel like they really compliment my blonde hair and skin.
I created these outfits to gain my little inspiration for the winter season. I'm going crazy for winter right now because my mom and I turned on the Christmas pandora station this morning and listened to it all day! We're Christmas lovers. :) Who isn't!? I'm so ready to start decorating... Halloween hasn't even passed yet... what am I thinking?
Hope you all had a super wonderful weekend. XoxoChic

Pretty In Tulle...

This weekend has been amazing. Friday I was in the zombie fashion show, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The gal who created me into a zombie was incredible. I feel like the word incredible is an understatement... She inspired me so much. She goes to Paul Mitchell as well, but is graduating next month! She is extremely talented at doing makeup. It blows my mind! It was her very first time doing special effects. She used latex to create the disaster on my face. Haha! So many girls and learning leaders would walk into the makeup bar and ask, "What picture are you going off of?" And she would say, "I don't have a picture... but I've got one in my head." This amazed me. I will never forget this girl. I wish I could put down in words how truly incredible she is. She's going to be so so successful and amazing at what she does! She's my definition of a beautiful human being.

Today I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family! I love spending my Sunday lounging around with them, eating good food, watching football, and laughing. I don't actually watch football... :)
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

Love and Curls...

This Monday my mom bought me literally the most adorable thing ever, that I will keep for life! You have no idea how much this makes me smile, and you may think I'm silly but... it's a cookie stamp! On it it says "made with love". Every single time I bake something for someone, I always say, "I MADE THIS WITH LOVE!" Because... well, I did. :) Haha. This is amazing because I love baking. It's my favorite, especially during the holidays! I'd rather stay in on the weekend baking cute cookies or cupcakes then go out. Yes, I know, I'm lame. ;)
Now I'm set to go with my "made with love" cookie stamp. I'm so in love. And I love my momma for getting me this. You can purchase this cookie stamp HERE.
Anyways... Today at my wonderful school we learned how to do pin curls, a different kind then just pinning it up. We took the hair and curled it up the same way you would do a pin curl and instead of pinning it we pressed it right in the smoothing iron, and wall-ah! It created such a beautiful curl. I had no idea about this technique, but I will for sure post a tutorial soon. It's so amazing!
I have very thick hair, the kind that you can do anything with, it will hold anything, so a few girls in my class did this pin curl technique to my whole head! I absolutely adored the outcome, they did such a great job.
P.S. Tomorrow I'm modeling for a zombie fashion show! I'm so pumped because they're making me into a beautiful zombie... say what? I'm so EXCITED! :) It will be a great experience and I will post pictures soon!
Xoxo

Breakfast At Tiffany's

Breakfast At Tiffany's

I'm a lover of the Audrey Hepburn "Breakfast At Tiffany's" look, so I created this as a modern inspired look. If I could, I'd wear this everyday... that's how much I love it. I have a big love for black and gold lately. Not to mention- I love a classy look. So much love in the air right now haha. Don't you wish you could eat cake for breakfast every morning?
 Enjoy! Xoxo

THE BIG MOMENT

So, I swear to you right now... I can NOT put into words how beyond stoked/excited/happy I am to be starting my own blog. I'm going to try my best though! First of all, I am a total beginner so you may just need to cut me some slack haha. ;) My mom has been telling me for months now that I need to start my own blog, and I have always replied to her "Yes! Yes! That would be so so amazing." P.S. I don't know how many times she told me that, and how many times I said that.
Well... I am here now. And I'm ready for this fab action.
3 things I want you to know right off the bat:
1. I am 100% a helpless romantic.
2. My love for sweets (cookies, cupcakes, & chocolate) is a bit outrageous.
3. I need a bigger closet.
